Normally the Directions button in an online invitation opens a navigation app such as Google Maps or Apple Maps immediately. If this does not work for a guest, it is usually caused by a setting on the device or by the browser.

The quick checklist below often helps guests solve the issue immediately.
1. Check if the invitation has fully loaded
Sometimes a button does not respond yet if the page has just been opened. Wait a few seconds and then tap the Directions button again.
2. Open the invitation in a browser
If an invitation is opened from a messaging app, the page may load in an embedded browser. These sometimes do not support all features.
Try opening the link again in a normal browser such as Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
3. Check if a maps app is available
The directions feature opens a navigation app on the guest’s device. If no map application is available, the route cannot start.
Most phones have Google Maps or Apple Maps installed by default.
4. Try another navigation app
If the selection window appears, the guest can choose another maps app. Sometimes Google Maps works better on Android and Apple Maps works better on iPhone.

5. Check if the location is correct
If the event location has not been fully entered, a navigation app may not be able to open a route. In that case the organizer can update the location via the menu (⁝) in the dashboard.
