When an event consists of multiple parts, it is useful to clearly list the program in the invitation. In Eventinfo.pro you usually use Text 2 for this. This text field is intended for practical information such as the program, instructions or additional details.
By placing the times neatly underneath each other, guests can immediately see how the event will unfold.
Write the program clearly
Preferably use one line per part of the program. Start with the time and then briefly describe what will happen. This makes the program easy to scan, especially on mobile devices.
For example:
14:00 — Welcome
14:30 — Ceremony
16:00 — Reception
18:00 — Dinner
21:00 — Party
By placing each step on a new line, the invitation remains calm and easy to read.
Always write times in the same format (for example 14:00 instead of 14.00 or 2pm). This makes the program clearer for all guests.
Keep the text short
Use short descriptions in the program. Long sentences make the schedule harder to read, especially on smaller screens. If extra explanation is needed, you can add it below the program.
Note about Add to calendar
The Add to calendar button always uses one date and one time for the calendar entry. Use the start of the program for this. The other times can be listed in Text 2.
The calendar feature uses a so-called .ics file. This is a standard format supported by almost all calendar apps. The file contains the date, time, location and a link to the event so calendars can add it automatically.
