Using a QR code

A QR code is a convenient way to guide guests quickly to your online invitation. By scanning the code with their phone, they can open the event webpage instantly.

This can be especially useful if you also want to use the invitation on paper, for example on a poster, card, or information board.

Where can you find the QR code?

You can easily send the QR code of your invitation to yourself from the dashboard.

Send QR code from the dashboard menu

Click the menu (⁝) next to the invitation and choose Send QR code. You will then receive an image of the QR code that links to the invitation.

Always test the QR code by scanning it yourself. This ensures that the correct invitation opens.

How guests use the QR code

Most smartphones automatically recognize QR codes through the camera. Guests open their camera, point it at the code, and tap the link that appears.

The invitation will then open directly in the browser.

When a QR code is useful

A QR code works especially well when people see the invitation in a physical place and need to quickly access the online version. For example on a poster, a printed invitation, or a screen at a venue.

By scanning the code, guests go directly to the invitation page without having to type the link.
