The second text field (Text 2) is usually where you place practical information for your guests. Think of the schedule, times, address details, or short instructions. By structuring this information clearly, guests can quickly see what matters most.
Use Text 2 for practical information
The first part of the invitation is often used for the announcement or a short introduction. Text 2 is then used for the concrete details of the event.
Guests can typically find information here such as:
- date and time
- address or location
- program or order of activities
- practical instructions

Work with short blocks of information
Practical information is easier to read when written in short blocks. This helps guests quickly find what they are looking for.
A simple structure could look like this:
- Date: Saturday, June 14
- Time: 19:30
- Location: Dorpsstraat 12, Utrecht
You can then add a short program if needed.
- 19:30 – welcome
- 20:00 – start of the celebration
- 23:30 – end
Keep instructions short and clear
If guests need to bring something or take something into account, include that in Text 2 as well. For example:
- parking information
- a dress code
- bringing something specific
- a meeting point or entrance
Write these instructions briefly and directly. Long explanations are usually not necessary.
Check readability on mobile
Many guests read invitations on their phones. Make sure the information remains clear when everything is displayed underneath each other.
Short lines and clear labels such as “Date”, “Time” and “Location” help guests quickly find the most important information.
