The guestbook of an online invitation is a place where guests can leave messages and photos. Depending on the settings, you decide who can see these messages. This allows you to match the guestbook privacy to the needs of your event.
Posting messages
When the guestbook is enabled for an invitation, guests can always add a message. They can write text and optionally add photos. The messages then appear in the guestbook of the invitation.

Three privacy settings
The guestbook has three visibility settings:
- Hidden — messages are visible only in the dashboard for logged-in users
- Private — messages are visible to anyone with the direct guestbook link
- Public — messages are visible through the guestbook link in the online invitation
The setting determines who can read the messages, not who can post them.
If you want only a small group of people to read the messages, for example family or colleagues, use the Private setting and share only the direct link to the guestbook.

Managing messages
As the organizer, you can always manage messages through the dashboard. For example, you can review, edit or hide responses when necessary.
This allows you to keep control over what remains visible in the guestbook.
